The deep pan weigher is installed in the deep pan conveyor installed at an inclined or horizontal section depending on the layout feasibility. The weighing arrangement consists of 4 loadcell based weighing platform which is integrated into the conveyor. The weighing platform rail arrangement is isolated from the main structure by suitably cutting the rails. The pan speed is measured with the encoder mounted on the conveyor motor. The entire load of material on the deep pan weigher is transferred onto the loadcells which correspondingly produce output signals equivalent to the weight of the material. |
